It's Good to Be Back!

After a short stint at another media outlet, I'm back at good ol' Kids Music That Rocks. I'll be digging deeper into stuff I like: kindiependent bands and performers, obscure oldies, grownup music that kids might like, and weird tunes that probably appeal to nobody but me.

If you have music you'd like me to check out, please feel free to send me a message at my new email listed over there in the left-hand column. Can't wait to hear what you've created!

It's good to be back!

  4. It really does feel like a natural homecoming. What makes this site special is that you trust your own curiosity, whether that leads to kindie bands, dusty old singles, or music that sits in that strange overlap where kids and adults both lean in. That point of view is what makes the writing feel personal instead of programmed, and it invites readers to discover things they did not know they were looking for.

I also like the openness of asking creators to reach out directly. It turns the space into more of a conversation than a one way broadcast. That mindset of digging deeper and staying organized while doing it is something I see across creative and technical work alike. In software teams, the same balance shows up when people use tools like Tuskr test management software to keep structure without losing curiosity or craft.
